GRIZZ FEST is just a few months away and we are building the GRIZZ CREW!

As a non-profit, fun, volunteer organization we need your help! Come have fun knowing you are contributing to another successful GRIZZ FEST.

GRIZZ FEST – We need smiling faces for the following short shifts

  • GRIZZ GREETERS - August 1st Bring your Grizzly spirit and smile to welcome Alumni at the door, sign them in, and make sure they get a name tag.

    • Morning Shift: 9:30 – 12:00 am.  Ashland Historic Armory

    • Afternoon Shift: 12:00 noon - 1:00pm at AHS for Campus Tour. TBD

    • Evening Shift: 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm. Ashland Historic Armory

  • GRIZZ BREW CREW- Coffee hour during Grizz Fest.  Help set up, make coffee, keep treats and coffee flowing, and tables tidy.

    • Morning Shift: 8:30 am - Noon

  • GRIZZ PIT CREW - Set up/Decorate/Clean up: It all must be done and it takes a village…. all help appreciated!

    • Friday afternoon (July 31st) before Grizz Fest - set up: 5:00 pm at Historic Ashland Armory

    • Saturday evening (Aug 1) after Grizz Fest - clean up.

  • GRIZZ PAPARAZZI -  Got a camera or phone with good camera? So much is missed when pictures are not captured. Have fun taking pictures of fellow alumni, attendees and volunteers at Alumni events / activities

    • Morning Shift: 10:00 - 12:00 - Historic Ashland Armory

    • Afternoon Shift: 12:00 - 1:30 - at AHS Campus

    • Evening Shift: 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm Historic Ashland Armory

  • GRIZZ AMBASSADORS- Reach out to local businesses and alumni business owners to secure donated items for Raffle Baskets and Wine Pull. This can be done remotely via phone reach out and someone local can pick up donations.

    • Shifts: April through July - Contact local Businesses (via phone/email or in-person depending on where you live) Secure donations for raffle items and sponsorship funding. If you are not local someone who is can pick up the donated items.

    Let us know what shift you want

    On-going help….we need yearly support in the followng areas:

  • GRIZZ NUMBERS NINJA - Accountant/finance (can be remote). Assist with filing annual tax documents (990 forms etc)

  • GRIZZ TECH SQUAD – Technology/Social Media  (can be remote) Help to manage/update current Alumni database. Help to engage all generations of alumni through various social media platforms    

    GRIZZ ENGAGEMENT TEAM (can be remote) - Research to find alumni and class leaders. Encourage them to become a member. Inquire about reunion plans etc.

    GRIZZ SPIRIT SQUAD - (in person) Homecoming parade in person event. Decorate a float, drive a car, walk the route. Alumni Night at first football game of the season.
